Cold, cold winter

Today I woke up and it was freezing, FREEZING cold, and, there was snow on the mountain, which wasn't so suprising seeing I spotted snow clouds yesterday evening.
So today, Robin is here, looking after the younger kids.
I am supposed to be doing my narration from" Annies coming out", but it just isn't happening, I can't concentrate on the book enough to remember it all!
Today I should have a load of Fashion designing books coming through the library today! YAY!
It sounds like Metta is having the time of her life! I think she crossed the channel to France last night! Lucky thing!
Missy's birthday in a coupl'a days, she's pretty excited about getting her licence, don't blame her! I got her this WAY COOL pair of boots, so I'm sorta exited too!
Guess I'd better get back to my narration now, UGH!

For a walk at Stoodly

Hello!
Yesterday Talithia, our friends Remo and Belz and I went for a walk from the beech forest, down to "our forest" which is around a forty-five minute walk from our house.
We went to the caves, and ate our picnic lunch by the waterfall, and went to go visit Jiles, which, is a cute little hut made out of logs laid against a hollowed out old, HUGE tree stump. So here are some photos for you:

This one is of Talithia trying to save me from falling over the waterfall, even though I was perfectly stable where I was.
Bit of a blurry one, but it is Remo, Belz and Talithia on top of one of the caves.
Me, checking out the cool, old and crushed, deserted car that is usually underwater.
An amazing purple mushroom we saw on the way to the caves.
Okey-dokey I'll a be off now, enjoy the rest of your day, and soak in the sunshine!

Hello,
Yesterday Zac, Talithia and I went Laser Skirmishing, with some friends, altogether there was 32 of us. It was the most fun ever, and if you haven't heard of Laser Skirmish, I'll try my best to explain in for you, the group is split equally in half, and you run off into the thick bush, with your laser guns, which, on the scope, have a little red laser light. And you have a army suit on, with a cap or giggle hat, and on the hat is the sensor, which is just like one sensor velcro'ed on your forehead with a cord leading to the other sensor on the back of your head, and then the cord leads down to your gun. You would aim for the sensor on their head, obviously.
Apart from that, on Saturday we went down to visit Zac, who has just begun renting a cottage in Lillydale. And, well, not all that much really.
Bye,
Serena,

here again,

Hello,
It is pelting with rain at the moment, ugh, I really hate the rain, everyone says how comporting it sounds as you lay in bed, but to me it is the opposite, it makes me feel unsettled.
Mum is teaching Ella-Grace and Daniel their phonics, I hear h-a-y-c-h and h hhhhhhh.
Easter was really nice, on easter sunday we we sat around the fire eating, Easter eggs, bacon, eggs, and baked beans, yummy.
And then later in the afternoon Zac and Nina planted Easter eggs, over the beech trees' in the Stoodly forest, which, I might add, on the other side of the road, is looking quite ugly because, it is being logged, grrr........
Alright I'd better be off, sorry it's such a short post,
Thanks for reading,

Photo's

Hey Guys!
I've got some photos for you today. About time too!
Right now I look outside the window and I see beautifully light raindrops falling from the smoky, cloudy sky.
Mum has Zola Van piano music playing at the moment although I'm not sure if she can even hear it as she is vacuuming , James is playing with his wooden train, (Hmm.. What am I going to get him for his present?) And everyone else is happily lazing around.
Summer is defiantly one of my favourite seasons, hot, sunny, and cloudless skies. But we're not getting much of that warm weather, more like 20 degrees with a cloudy sky and damp grass.
I havent been to raspberries very much in the past week, not enough berries to pick and often damp.
Okay I think it's time for the photos:

To start off with is Thomas beside the bean patch.

Mum and Thomas at Stoodly
Grace, Jammie, and Daniel at Stoodly
Jammie, walking at Stoodly
One of Joshies sunflowers in the garden
Unripe, but beautiful blackberries

This is just how thick the smoke was up here the other day,
It came from a nearby fire.

Okay, I'd better be off now,

Gee I haven't written in ages,
So much has happened both good and bad and in between.
Since last entry I have been to a hens night, wedding, engagement, won a thousand dollars, been to a funeral, and got a summer job.
I had never ever been to a wedding until a month and a few weeks ago, it was ausome, it was Debbie Murray and Darren Wattons' wedding, at Stoodly forest (soon to be LOGGED), it was so beautiful I want yo have my wedding there.
The reception was at Eagles Nest Retreat, a luxury retreat!
Now to even more exiting news, We made this film right? For the Mystate financial film festival, watch here and we went to Hobart for the awards because we were in the finalists!!!!
We go there in, well, it has to be the most beautiful theatre in Tas, and we won the secondary category!!!! One thousand dollars!!! Split between us four!
Now to the sad news, Debbie, (who just got married), died two weeks ago, she had cancer, it was really, really sad, she was mum's really, really good friend. So it was a sad day.
The in between news, I got a summer job picking raspberries! First day I earn't 70$, my friend work there too, so there is always someone to talk to and there was a surprising amount of birds who throw rotten raspberries at you.
Well, I'd better get going we're going to the Christmas Parade and lights tonight!
Bye, (Hi Emma, and Smiely xoxo Reeny!)

A few days ago...

A few days' ago I cooked a four corse meal with my friend, Bells!
It was a completely vegetarian, mostly gluten free and only stove top menu because the oven wasn't working.
For our first course, we had an entree of Greek salad (From Greece), then for the main meal we had a Italian tomato soup with fresh homemade pasta(From Italy), The passionfruit fool (Great Britain) and then me had biscuits, cheese's, wine, and non alcoholic mine for us kids! (France)!
Yesterday, we went up to the Wattons and did a sort of Melbourne Cup, Shocking, who I voted for my first won, but the other two I voted for didn't get even close.
But it was good fun. Before we left I made the yummy biscuits that mum found the recipe on the Down to Earth blog and we took them over some, oh they were so good!
Yesterday we went to the library and I got out a book called Cookbook for Girl, It's a really good one, it has lots of yummy recipes, plus some craft's at the back.
When I woke up this morning I thought It would be a great sunny, warm day, but now it unfortunately it's turning overcast now.
Well, I should probably get off now,
Bye
