Baby Thomas has been born for 9 weeks now.
He has now learnt how to smile, it's the most gorgeous thing in the world!
He had an Op in Hobart, but has recovered quite well.
It's election time now, and dad id standing for deputy mayor, against two other people, So on Monday dad and I went to Wilmot in the early morning dropping pamphlets off, after that we went into Latrobe and had a delicious brekky, mmmmmm...
A few weeks ago Fern stayed with us, she was down here for a holiday, from Thailand, She was so nice, I wish she'd stayed longer.
Missy and two of our friends, and I made a film for the student film festival, which finally got sent off, I think.
Last night we went to 'Cosi fan Tutte' opera at Cmax, It was live from the Sydney Opera House!
Guess, I'd better be off,

9/6/09
Earlier this month I went to camp, it was heaps of fun, I stayed for four nights and Talithia is there at the moment at her camp, she'll be back soon.
Yesterday we made paper snowflakes and stuck them on the windows, I would take a photo, but Talithia's got the batteries for my camera.
The baby comes in eight weeks!
There's not actually that much to say, we haven't done much, at all.
Well the Birthday season star's in four days, it's not really a season, it's just we've got three birthdays a week apart, Zac he's going to be eighteen, Talithia, She's going to be 15, Gracie, she's going to be 7.
Nothing else to report, bye.

Wow, I've got quite a lot to catch up on, well, Christmas is over, and was great!
And, when we lived in our old house, I had a very best friend who lived next door, and she moved away to Melbourne, when we were 6, and we have sort of kept in contact, writing letter's, but in early January she called me up and said she was in town!
So we got together, me, her and her little sister and did some scrap-booking and then the next day we walked around town and she said all of the thing's that have changed, and we went in to most of the shop's and tried on glasses and thing''s like that.
Dad and Zac went to Italy, and just came back a week ago, well Dad did, but Zac had to stay in Melbourne for Tafe.
I will put some more photo's in the Photo Gallery soon,
Ok bye, Serena

Hello,
Nearly December!
I'm looking forward to singing Christmas Carol's, as always!
In a few weeks it is my birthday!
Poppy has came and left but he did not not do anything!
Oh no, no indeed, he made a mail-box for us out of an old cream can.
He made all of the garden beds boxed in and so many more thing's.
This week I have to go dairy-free, so I have to find some dairy-free recipes.
Really quite hard, I mean finding dairy-free recipes.
I am writing this entry as we listen to an audio book called Sunshine and Shadows by Katie Flynn.
It is a great book!
Well I'd better get off now.
See'ya, Serena

Hello,
Again it's been quite awhile since I last wrote, oops.
Missy has been offered a kinda job-thingie at this Arabian Horse Stud just out of town!
Exiting, huh?
Yesterday Mandy and I figured out that one of the cabin-leaders from camp is going to act as Pike out of Dad's Army!
You see, Mandy is doing a play on two of the Dad's Army episodes.
I also got my hair-cut, short as before.
But it's more styled than last time and I got off about three inches off, it's kinda layed!
Our Poppy is coming over from the main-land next week!!!
I'm very exited about seeing him again!
The last time Poppy saw James was when James was a very new-born!
On Sunday Sheffield was on Landline!
Something about a suicide convention.
Joshua still says silver-side instead of suicide!
Today it was a nice sunny, spring day! If only everyday was like today!
It's sad 'cos the daffodil's are pretty much dead.
They didn't last very long, and we bearly had a bunch inside.
And we only sold a few bunches.
Ok I've gotta bet off now, it's nearly time for bed.
Bye!

Hi again,
Sorry that I have not entered in my blog for ages, I have had a terrible cold.
It was very strange, because I was sick for four day's and then I was well again, and now I'm coldie again.
As you can imagine, while I have been sick I've done quite alot of reading!
We have been having some cool spring days, one minute it's sunny, the next it's pelting down with rain.
On the two day's that I was well, I had a sleep-over at my cousins' house!
It's so much fun playing charades with them, especially my older cousin, Matt, he had to do a blind date, so he covered his eyes, and imitated people kissing, eating and hugging.
It was hilarious!
Everyone had a good laugh about that!
While I was there we played heaps of games of charades and Pictionary!
When I came back, mum had had the flu, yuck.
But luckily, for all of us she was recovering quickly.
Also, didi I mention that me and my cousin watched Dad's army?
But yesterday something bad happened, well, dad and Talithia were in Devonport, taking the cat to the vet, when on their way home they saw a car in the middle of the road with a man standing outside it, soon they found out that it was our friend she hurt her neck, and was taken to the hospital, and about twenty-five minutes later she was travelling home.
Dad and Missy said that they had seen the fire-fighter's putting a neck brace on her.
Oh, I hope she's fine now.
Her car has now got a huge dent on the side of it.
Well, that's about all I've got to report today, talk soon.
Serena

I'm back!
Camp was G-R-E-A-T !!
There was quite a few bad thing's that happened, but 80% of my time was good!
I have got heap's of camp song going through in my head at the moment like: The Jesus Rap, Lord I Lift Your Name On High, My Redeemer Lives, Everyday, Austrian Yodel Song. Life Saver and a few others!
Last night me and my new friend's were really scared, because one of the cabin leaders' got knocked unconscious, and nobody would tell us kids how it happened.
He must of went home during the night, because his co-leader had to look after the boy's by himself for the night.
But this morning he came back just before the closing ceremony, so he could say Au Revior to his campers.
My cousin Lori was in my cabin, Emma was too!
But since I've got home, I have got a terrible cold, which I think, is soon going to turn into the flu.
My brothers' birthday is in five days do I'll have to find him a present, And my older brother Zac is leaving home to live in Lonny tomorrow, which we are all very sad about.
But I suppose I should look on the bright side, He's got a job, the job he wanted.
Ok, I'd better get going now.
Serena.

Gee!
I haven't written since Wednesday last week!
Sorry about that!
I have three days until camp!
And I'm totally pumped!
My cabin leader from last year will be there, so I hope she will be one of the leaders in my cabin!
This week our family has been: Well, we have done school in the mornings, and some of the afternoon's mum and I worked on my costume, some times we played outside, read books and sometimes I have worked on the story that my cousin and I are writing, and some of the other time I have worked on my other story's or just sat down and read a book!
I have been selling some daffodils at the corner, which have been going okay.
Alright if I can find time tomorrow I'll write the day's happenings
See'ya
Serena

28/8/08
Until Friday afternoon we are looking after a two-week-old lamb!!
It is so cute, it follows me whenever I go outside.
It could surly set a world record for 'The Lamb Who Drinks His Milk The Fastest'!
He does it in less that a minute I'm sure of it!
Joshua and I just got back from our music lesson.
It was a great lesson this time!
But maybe that's because I didn't have to learn any new songs....
Mum and I made some soap from a website the other day, It works but, no offence to mum, it's kida more like Camembert cheese that soap.
It wasn't a real success, but it works, and smells great!
Okay, I'd better get going now.
Enjoy the rest of today, from Serena.

27/8/08
The daffodils that are in the paddock next to us have now got little yellow heads on them.
I thought the first line of a poem by William Wordsworth would suit today:
I wandered lonely as a cloud
I Wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.

At the moment, for school we are all memorising it!
We, as a family, do not have a TV so we go on ABC iView you can get
on to that by clicking here
But you have to have iinet to get it.
I'm reading a great Hardy Boys book at the moment!
They are so exiting, and in some cases funny!
Literally.
Okay, I'm off.

26/8/08
Today I awoke to the beautiful sound of many different birds chirping outside our bedroom window.
Oh, and the mountain was such a beautiful shade of a pinky-purple.
It's my Aunt's birthday on the weekend!
Oh, guess what I just found out?
My cousin Lori will probably be going to camp with me if there's room in the camp for her, but they said that it is filling up fast!
I really do hope she can come!
I am impatiently awaiting a letter from my BFF (Best Friend Forever) I told you about her earlier, we do the Mystery Letters together!
Did I mention to you earlier that I play the harp and piano?
I will be having my music lesson on Thursday!
At the moment Mum and Zac are away, Zac is having his last driving time before having his driving test to get his P's!
He's moving out in September, which is a bit sad.
I have got a book at the moment called Passport on a Plate
(You can just search that!)
Click here to go to this great website, if you can't think of anything for dinner it's perfect, it's nothing to do with Passport on a Plate
Ok I'd better get going now, Serena

24/8/08
Oh! That was so refreshing! A nice warm bath, reading my book.
This afternoon Talithia and I got back from camping!
It was lots of fun !
We didn't get to sleep until eleven-thirty, because we had a late dinner and when we got in bed (In their old bus) we just talked.
And talked.
And talked!
And Talithia kept having laughing fits and we opened a packet of chips and sour snakes, which, I guess didn't really help that much!
But anyway, the important thing is, we had fun!
And we played about two-thousand-million games of Five Crowns.
It was so nice going to sleep with the fait sound of the wind around us, and waking up to see a gorgeous blue and purple mountain and the beautiful yellow wattle flowers.
Ok I'd better get to sleep now
I'll talk again soon XOXO Serena

22/8/08
Today I awoke, looked out of the window and my eyes met with the sight of a silver blanket of frost!
Oh! It was a grand way to start the day!
Tonight Mum, Dad, Talithia and I are going to a poetry night called "Let me show you a ripple", Which, at fist I thought said "Let me show you a ripper !!
Woops!
Yes, anyway back to the poetry night, a lady will show us her photos and poetry that she has written!
Also, we will have some cheese and for the adults wine !
All right I'll go and put some photos and do a litttle more on the Stories that I'm writing.
Talk soon Serena.

21/8/08
Tonight dad has got a big, and I mean big councill meeting!
He, Mum and Zac have gone to it.
Who knows when they'll be home, late I guess.
I kinda feel sorry for him, there are a few ruffians that will be going.
I just hope all goes well.
I just don't get it? All of this just for a road !!
Jee, the Olympics has nearly finished! It didn't last for long, but again, it hasn't finished!
On the weekend we might be going camping with some of our friends on their block, But we are still organising it!
But, since i'm not to keen on staying the nightout in the wild, I'll probally be just going for the day,
I'm so exitied about camp!!
Ok I'd better get going now, XOXO Serena

19/8/08
Today, we, as in we I mean Mandy, Gracie, Josh, Missy and I, went to Devonport to do some shopping and have lunch.
In the end I bought two tops.
Yesterday I got my hair cut, it was strange seeing my blode hair slowly floating to the groud of the hairdessers'.
Wow! Soon i'm going to be very, very busy!
I'll be writing 1...2... no actually, if you count the newspaper that i'm writing and this blog it would be four!
Also, latley I have been playing Her Interactive's Nancy Drew mystery Games!!
They are lots of fun! Missy, Josh and I all play it!
But I usally have to go to my sister for help....
Alright that's about all to report!
Serena.

18/8/08
Hi again,
I have this friend, and we write each other we write to each other what has happed and a few other things.
And on the other side of the paper, we write, what we call Mystery Letters.
So every now and then we start a new 'case' .
Today we just finished a case and she is going to think up a new, exiting case for us to work on.
We have been watching the Oympics, again, it is so fun to watch, somtimes i say 'Go Aussie!' and Mum has to make me be quiet me so the baby will stay asleep.
Ok that's it from me

16/8/08
Hi all!
Soon i'll be going to a ausome camp in september!
They are so much fun!!
The theme for this camp is African Safari so that means, that we will play games that are African of at least African themed !
And on the last day of camp we will dress up as Africans and watch some movie!
Ok i've got to go now,
Serena

8/8/08
This didn't happen today but it still did happen!
Well, anyway, a few days ago we were all sitting at the table eating lunch, when all of a sudden, it seemed as if a big helicopter was gently dropping feathers as it went by!
It didn't stay like that for long, but soon the snow was coming from all directions!
It was so beautiful!
But there was only one slight problem: It was FREEZING!
Brr... i'm shivering even thinking about it!

1/8/08
Yesterday our family and one of our friends that is new to the town, went down to a beautiful tree garden called The Arboretum !
At The Arboretum there are, of course, all sorts of trees, and pretty much all sorts of plants you could possibly name!
Also at The Arboretum there are little creeks, small and long bushwalks, rivers, waterfalls and little rooms made from two or three weeping willows joining together!
It is such a beautiful place, you feel like you're in a fantasy world all of your own, and no one can enter it apart from you!
Or at least that's how I feel!
